424 students from Genesee Community College named to President's List. Students honored on the President's List have maintained full-time enrollment and earned a quality point index of 3.75 (roughly equivalent to an A) or better.
University of Scranton announced more than 1,500 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2016 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence.
Over 180 Ithaca College students have been inducted into the Oracle Honor Society. The Oracle Honor Society is a historic Ithaca College honor society that recognizes academic excellence. New students who achieve a GPA within the top 10 percent of students in their academic school after completing two full semesters at the college are invited to accept membership into the society.
Twenty-one Elmira College senior nursing majors were inducted into the Rho Gamma Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International earlier this month. Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) recognizes individuals with excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service to improve the health of people throughout the world. STTI provides scholarship, leadership and service resources and support in 90 countries.
Eastern Connecticut State University recently hosted its annual Scholarship Reception in the Fine Arts Instructional Center. The event brought together major ECSU Foundation scholarship donors and their respective student-recipients. This year students were awarded scholarships, totaling more than $600,000 in financial aid to students of all backgrounds and academic majors.

Forty-seven students were recently inducted into the Pi Gamma Mu honor society at Susquehanna University. The purpose of Pi Gamma Mu is to encourage the study of the social sciences and to achieve synthesis therein; to inspire social service to humanity by an intelligent approach to the solution of social problems; and to recognize outstanding achievement. The Pennsylvania Gamma Chapter was established in 1927.

Several students participated in the Sigmund Weis School of Business London Program during the spring 2014 semester. The program provides business students with an international experience, developing and expanding their learning capabilities and broadening their perspectives about possible careers. While abroad, students complete courses in operations management, quantitative methods for business, international business practice, and management and organizational behavior.
More than 500 Buffalo State students presented their own research or creative work at the annual Student Research and Creativity Celebration held on campus in April 2016. Students from many academic disciplines including art, business, education, science, and technology explained their work using posters or presentations. Gallery and performance space was allocated to students in the performing and visual arts.
